1/2" Drop In Expansion Anchor, 25pk
Concrete Drop in- Hollow Wall- Masonry Anchors.
These are for 1/2 Thread Rod or Bolts.
Our company over the past 22 years has used tap in's, red heads, single/dual expanders, you name it and none have been near this good. We use these for mounting our concrete wall saws as well as our safety harness mounts. I've had our equipment come loose using the other types of fasteners due to the various substrates we've had to mount in. Since finding these, there's no question on it being the best product. There's no chance we can take the risk to the guys or equipment so ended throwing all the other fasterners we had in stock. We've used these on hollow CMU, Brick, Grout, failing concrete (went deeper into the wall), and normal concrete. The nice thing is you can flush mount or mount as deep as you like. So if the face of what you're mounting to is loose not bonding properly, you can drill deeper and set further in where the grip will hold better. It takes a 3/4" hammer bit, then clean out dust as you would any other anchor hole and either use the set tool, the twist set tool, or in a pinch just screw on another nut backwards onto your 1/2 threaded nut or rod then smack into place.
I will have listings for the extra set tools.
You will not be disappointed! Please ask any questions.

This drop in anchor is designed for anchoring in hollow base materials such as hollow concrete block and precast hollow core plank, but it can be installed in solid base materials as well. Concrete masonry blocks often have a maximum outer wall thickness of 1-1/2". During the drilling process, spalling on the back side of the wall can decrease the wall thickness, leaving a scant 1" or less for anchoring. The drop in anchor is designed to perform in this situation, where most conventional style anchors will not.
